When Alison Semmler, of Lifestyle Maven Events, reached out to the Brooklyn chapter of the Rising Tide Society‘s Tuesdays Together group looking for a photographer for a styled shoot at Pioneer Works, I jumped at the opportunity.  I had seen photos from a few weddings there and I loved the raw, modern, and industrial space (that also doubles as an art gallery).  Alison brought together a fantastic team of vendors to help bring this Brooklyn Nautical vision to life and I am grateful I was able to photograph it!

Burnett’s Boards featured this shoot on their blog this past July 4th.  I arrived on the Cape today for a few weeks of wedding work, and with the ocean and lobster on my mind, I wanted to share some of my favorite images from this collaboration.  And also, for real, I’d love to work at this space again so if you’re thinking of getting married there reach out!
