Andrea and Michael were married at the Central Park Conservatory Garden on a gorgeous September day. Andrea and Michael both live and work as chefs in Chicago, but they met while working in NYC at the prestigious Jean George. They decided to celebrate their wedding in the city where they fell in love, having an intimate ceremony at the garden with their family, followed by a dinner party reception with all their friends at Almond. Andrea looked stunning in her Carolina Herrera gown, and I loved Michael’s blue Blvdier suit. They were such a striking duo walking through the park!
One of my favorite parts of the day was taking a cab to Jean George to take photos where they first met. I love it when couples find ways to incorporate personal and meaningful locations into their portrait session on wedding days. I should also mention another favorite part of their wedding day was….their wedding cake. Andrea is a talented pastry chef so I knew that there was most likely going to be an incredible dessert. Her friends at Gramercy Tavern made an amazing four-tiered, six-layer carrot cake which, in additional to being delicious, was also the largest wedding cake I have ever seen in person. I had an amazing time walking through the city with Andrea and Michael and sharing this day with their family and friends. Congrats to new Mr. and Mrs. Coté!!
