This was an excellent day. Alana and Sam invited their family and friends up to Owls Hoot Barn late last October to celebrate their wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a more lovely duo to photograph as we walked through trails and climbed the trees of these beautiful grounds (Doc Marten shoe choice for the win). Alana and Sam both went to Brown and work in theater. I will admit that being a Brown theater alum I am incredibly biased, but theater pros know how to create/throw fantastic events. Weddings are basically a one night only play/performance. There was a group kazoo recessional to “All you need is love”, an a capella interlude during cocktail hour, a first performance in lieu of a first dance by Alana and Sam, and an evening camp fire just to mention a few of the thoughtfully planned moments of this day. I knew this was going to be an incredible evening, filled with so much love for this duo and I had a permanent grin stretched across my face seeing all the joy of this day unfold.
