We’re heading into a heat wave this weekend, so I thought it appropriate to share photos from Alexis and Santiago’s January elopement on the coldest day of 2018. It was the day after the “bomb cyclone” and while it wasn’t snowing, it was about 10 degrees outside. I met Alexis and Santiago at Augustine in the Beekman hotel for a light breakfast before heading over to city hall to meet their families who were visiting from Colombia. City Hall is a treat to work at and I loved the intimate and uniquely New York feel of this day. I couldn’t have asked for a more lovely and stylish duo to photograph, especially on the coldest day of the year. Congratulations Alexis and Santiago!
