A year ago Lisa and Wek broke the internet by doing a 253lb deadlift as part of their vows at the Boathouse in Prospect Park. I am so grateful to Elodie of Tall & Small Events who introduced me to these women. They are loving, funny, intelligent, strong, and accompanied by the most delightful crew of friends and family. Wek proposed to Lisa with a plaque in Prospect Park, and they decided to celebrate the wedding at the Boathouse, just a few yards away from the proposal spot. It was the perfect Brooklyn day celebrating these two. It’s been one heck of a year, happy one year anniversary Lisa & Wek!
