Elliot. Dramaturg, teacher, director, producer, literary editor.
This is a long overdue post. #Dayjobs is a portrait series where I interview artists and ask them about their day to day life in New York. I think about what they said, how they said it, and then pick a place to photograph them. These are Elliot’s photos from his first time in Greenwood Cemetery.
(Also, Dramaturg: a professional position within a theatre or opera company that deals mainly with research and development of plays or operas. Its modern-day function was originated by the innovations of Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, an 18th-century German playwright, philosopher, and theorist about theatre.)
